Many years ago, we met and connected as friends online, not knowing that it would lead us to where we are today!

Katy was born in Stoke Mandeville, England, and Jason was born in Dallas, Texas – a whopping 4,700 miles apart! Despite being so far apart geographically, the stars aligned and we met and realised we have almost everything in common. Both passionate about writing and creating, books, movies, animals, and with a love of the great outdoors, we quickly found that we could talk to one another about everything. We talked for hours, every day, building up a friendship that eventually grew into something more. In 2019, we met in person for the first time… only to be separated again by COVID in 2020!

After the pandemic, we felt that we needed to make a decision. To make this work, one of us would have to take the enormous step of uprooting their life in their home country and moving abroad for love. And Jason, a budding Anglophile with his deep affection for the English countryside and rich history, decided he would be the one to do it.

Now, in 2026, we finally find ourselves at the point where our life together will truly begin. It will be the great honour of our lives to share our wedding day with you, our cherished friends and family.
